Once you've created your impressions, send them back to us. Free return shipping is included with the kit (within Canada).
3. Enjoy your jewelry
Once received, your impressions are transformed into silver or gold, hand finished by us and sent back to you. You now have a deeply personal keepsake that will be cherished forever.

Guided Impression Appointments
If you prefer to be guided or need help in capturing your impressions, book an Impressions appointment at our studio.
The studio is located in the SW Calgary community of Patterson. The address will be emailed to you once your appointment is confirmed.
Appointments are available on Thursday - Sunday and can be made up to two weeks in advance. Please reach out if you prefer a time/day outside of our normal business hours.

Tips & Tricks
LOOK AT THE AREA TO IMPRINT
Before creating your impressions, look for the best area to capture details. Some fingerpads have more creases and wrinkles, consider if you want those to be a part of your jewelry. Some pets may have clearer prints on their hind paw pads than their nose. Choose areas with the best chance of creating clear and distinct impressions.
BABIES
Babies under the age of 2 often have shallow, less defined fingerprints. You can still capture the general shape and size of fingers or finger creases. The kits do not expire, so you may choose to use the kit when they are a little older.
CLEAN & DRY IS BEST
Whether its a finger, paw or nose, clean and dry areas make better prints. If your finger becomes too tacky from residual wax, use a different finger or wait until you are able to remove the residue. Residual wax on your finger may create patchy areas on the impression. If the waxes become too dirty and you require extra wax, please send us an email at hello@kitejewels.com or use "help" chat box on this page.
DOUBLE SIDED PENDANTS
Both sides of the wax can capture impressions- be creative! For example, you can imprint two different fingerprints by pressing the wax between two fingers. This is a great option for two children. Please indicate on the included options card if you have created a double sided pendant. Note that pendants with initials engraved on the back cannot be double sided.
